Remove the vocals from any song
Drop in a track and get the karaoke instrumental and the isolated vocal. Or set the voice anywhere in between — live, while you listen — and download exactly that mix.
Try it before you upload anything — this is the screen you land on once a track is done.
A real public-domain song, split by this very tool. The faders, the presets and the downloads all work.
How it works
Upload a track
Drag in a file or pick one. Nothing is sent to a third party — the audio is processed on our own server.
The model splits it
A neural separation model tells the voice apart from everything else, including reverb tails and quiet backing lines.
Set the balance and download
Two faders change the vocal and the backing as it plays. Take the stems on their own, or render the balance you just made into one file — WAV or MP3.
Why this one
Studio-grade separation
The same class of model the paid services run. Not a centre-channel trick that leaves the voice smeared across the mix.
Not just on or off
The voice is a fader, not a switch. Leave a quiet guide vocal in the karaoke track, drop it 6 dB instead of removing it, or mute it entirely — and download that exact mix.
Your audio stays here
Files live in a temporary folder, are never handed to another service, and are deleted automatically two hours later.
No account, no watermark
No sign-up, no e-mail, no length-limited teaser. Download the full file at full quality.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no paid tier and no watermark. There is a limit of 20 tracks an hour per visitor, which is there to keep the server responsive, not to sell you anything.
What happens to my file?
It is written to a temporary folder on the server, processed, and deleted two hours later along with the results. It is never sent to another company, and the download links are unguessable random tokens.
Can I keep the vocal quiet instead of removing it?
Yes — that is what the two faders under the player are for. They change the balance live while the track plays, and the button next to them renders whatever you are hearing into one downloadable file. Useful for a karaoke track that keeps a faint guide vocal, or for pulling a loud vocal down a few dB without losing it.
How good is the result?
For most produced music the instrumental is clean enough to sing over and the vocal is usable on its own. Dense choruses, heavy reverb and live recordings are the hard cases and can leave faint traces.
What files can I upload?
MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and most video files — the soundtrack is pulled out automatically. The limit is 80 MB and 15 minutes.
How long does it take?
Roughly a minute for a normal song, plus any time spent waiting if other people are uploading at the same time. The page shows your place in line.
